Faculty Professional Development Courses, Mini-Courses, and Workshops

Faculty development courses provide between 10 and 120 hours of involvement (contact, preparation), the equivalent of .25 to 3 semester credit hours. Courses may be face-to-face, online, or hybrid.

Mini-courses provide between 3 and 10 hours of involvement (contact, preparation). Mini-courses may be face-to-face, online, or hybrid.

Workshops generally run from 50-minutes to 2-hours and can be face-to-face or synchronous online (webinars).

Involvement hours from faculty professional development courses, mini-courses and workshops can be accumulated to to earn semester credit hours (40 involvement hours = 1 semester credit hour).
