Facilitating Adult Learning

Courses are designed to provide faculty with unique opportunities to work with colleagues, engage in meaningful discussions about learning-centered topics and develop strategies to create an effective learning environment for face-to-face, hybrid and online courses.

  • Reach out to participants prior to class start – assign pre-work, survey knowledge
  • Follow up with participants after class has completed – how have they applied what they learned
  • Share out – publish the work you’ve done in the class on the FPD SoTL site
